True crime is coming to the big screen this fall.
"Dorothea" centers on the real-life case of serial killer Dorothea Puente, an average grandmother who ran a boarding house, where she drugged, killed, and buried her elderly and disabled boarders in her garden in the 1980s.
Puente was found guilty and sentenced to two life terms, eventually dying behind bars in 2011.
The movie stars Susan Priver, Lew Temple, Brinke Stevens, Ginger Lynn, Brenda James, Cassandra Gava, Cyril O’Reilly, Ezra Buzzington, and Robert Miano.
"Dorothea" hits theaters on October 31.
