A new study shows that men are overconfident when it comes to their running skills.

Some of the findings of the study, ahead of the British Grand National horse race, include:

  • One in 50 men think they could beat a horse in a 100-meter sprint
  • They think could outpace crocodiles (27-percent) and elephants (20-percent)
  • 11% reckon they could outsprint a house cat over 10 meters
  • Women don’t think they can outrun most non-human competitors.

It’s worth noting that the fastest horse ever recorded managed a speed of more than 40mph, and Usain Bolt’s fastest time was 27.78mph.
