A Connecticut man is being compared to Brad Pitt’s character in “Fight Club,” but not for his fighting skills. Robert Tolppi is catching a lot of attention because he’s made soap from his body fat, posting a video on TikTok showing off the entire process. “Some find the video funny, while others find it outright disgusting,” the 23-year-old told Caters News Agency.
He's built a following of 1.5 million on TikTok by sharing weird clips, and this one is no exception. He didn’t remove his fat, though; he had 400ccs of fat removed from his body with liposuction, then asked if he could keep it. “I found the idea of human fat soap compelling, taking the conclusions of the zero-waste movement and our society’s push to recycle to the next level,” he said.
