Lil Baby Responds To Young Thug

Young Thug was released from jail this week after reaching a plea deal in the YSL RICO case, sparking a lot of discussions in the hip-hop community and beyond. On Sunday, November 3, he sparked even more chatter with an intriguing tweet that left fans both excited and puzzled. He wrote, "Wham let’s drop one on these rats peter," hinting at a possible collaboration with Lil Baby. Fans are speculating about the tweet's meaning, especially regarding the terms "rats" and "Peter." Lil Baby responded on his Instagram Story to both Young Thug’s message and his release, saying, "I missed you mf !! Welcome home my brudda! Thank god you’re back with the fam in good health! Wish ya none but billions jack! #whateverwhamsaygoes."

The confusion on social media mainly stems from Young Thug possibly subtly criticizing Gunna, another associate who took a plea deal in the same case almost two years prior. Some fans believe Gunna may have been labeled a snitch, with hints in Young Thug's lyrics that are interpreted as shots at Gunna. Additionally, Young Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel, mentioned that while Thug requested to collaborate with Gunna as label mates, he is also restricted from associating with YSL affiliates. This approval from the judge has raised questions among fans. Since Young Thug also suggested that Drake, Future, and Metro Boomin make peace, it seems he may be trying to resolve conflicts in his circle. Only time will reveal what happens next.
