CLEVELAND, OH--- The Cleveland Guardians fell to the Yankees Sunday night 6-4, forcing a game 5 in New York tomorrow. Gerrit Cole threw a great 7 innings tonight, giving up 6 hits and striking out 8 Guardians batters, Cole is 2-0 in the series.

The Yankees surprisingly got runs off of base hits that weren't home runs tonight, Anthony Rizzo would hit an RBI single in the first inning, and Giancarlo Stanton would hit a deep SAC fly in the 6th. But of course, the Yankees did manage a bomb, a 2 run home run off the bat of Harrison Bader in the 2nd inning. The Guardians once again did not lay down tonight, as Jose Ramirez would get the Guards on the board first with an RBI single in the 3rd, unfortunately, he took too much of a turn heading to second, and was thrown out trying to dive back to first base, although he did mange to bring in Steven Kwan. The next inning Josh Naylor would hit a solo home run, and boy was Naylor FIRED up running the bases. Zach Plesac would enter the game in the 9th to pitch, he had a 2 strikeout 9th to give the Guardians a chance, but the Guardians couldn't get anything going.

The Guardians and Yankees play game 5 from Yankee Stadium tomorrow night, winner takes on the Astros in Houston for game 1 of the ALCS Tuesday night. Listen to both tomorrow and game 1 of the ALCS if the Guardians make it on 1100 AM, 106.9 FM, the free iHeartRadio app, or HERE
