TORONTO, ON -- Toronto went to their bullpen early on in what ended up being a low-scoring pitcher's duel. The Jays' pen combined for 4 1/3 total innings of shutout baseball, as Toronto cruised to a 2-1 win over the visiting Guardians.

Matt Chapman got the Blue Jays' offense going on a game-tying solo homer in the home half of the 5th inning. In a 1-1 game in the 7th inning, Teoscar Hernandez went yard on Triston McKenzie for the go-ahead run.

The Cleveland Guardians and Toronto Blue Jays will play the rubber match of the three-game series on Sunday afternoon. The first pitch is set for 1:37 pm ET at the Rodgers Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
