Reflecting on the incident, Kelce later apologized on "ESPN," saying, "I'm not proud of it. In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don’t think that’s productive." His brother Travis Kelce defended him, emphasizing that Jason was protecting his family and has no hate in his heart.
