Dame Dash has responded after Cam'ron and 50 Cent announced their plan to turn Paid In Full into a TV series, and he doesn't seem too enthusiastic about the idea.

Soon after the announcement went viral on Monday, September 8, Dame made it clear that he's not involved with the upcoming project. He posted a video to his Instagram, in which he sarcastically congratulates Cam'ron for "making 50 Cent your new boss."

“Cam just made a post, major announcement,” Dash said. “I wanna congratulate him for making 50 his new boss. So, congratulations, Cam, 50’s your new boss.”

For the unfamiliar, Dame Dash was one of several producers who helped bring the original 2002 film to life via Roc-a-Fella Films alongside JAY-Z. Loud Records' Steve Rifkind and revered filmmaker Brett Ratner also produced the movie with Azie Faison, who was one of the famed drug dealers who inspired the plot.

In his announcement, 50 Cent confirmed that he purchased the rights to Paid In Full and plans to revive it by turning the plotline into a TV series. He also recruited Killa Cam, who starred in the original film, to executive produce the series with him. Soon after Dame Dash tagged him in his post, Cam hopped in the comment section and reacted accordingly.

"U really turned into a chatty patty damn..tagging me every post," Cam wrote with some laughing emojis. "N***a get cut out of tv series everyday B, u be ight. U only doing this for clicks, this the most action u got in ya Chanel EVER. You welcome. For now on my lil n***a. Lolol . Go to the store for me real quick 😂"

50 Cent has yet to publicly weigh in on Dame's thoughts. Instead, he provided more insight into his vision and previewed a list of characters we may see in the show. Check out his post below.
