Mariah Carey just gave fans another taste of what’s coming with a new teaser for her “Type Dangerous” music video, dropping this Friday.
“I'm so excited to finally be releasing 'Type Dangerous' into the world!” she shared in a statement, adding that she’s been “locked up in the studio” pouring her energy into new music.
The video teaser, shared on Instagram, gives off serious movie vibes with Mimi strutting through a casino.
Carey lit up the 2025 BET Awards with a performance of the track, where she also received the BET Ultimate Icon Award.
“My life and career have been quite the adventure,” she said in her speech, reflecting on her journey. What’s more is director Joseph Kahn teased that there will be an “unguessable” “earth shattering surprise” in the music video and that fans should “brace” themselves.
