Disney influencer Dominique Brown died at the age of 34 after suffering an allergic reaction during a holiday event, the Daily Mail reported.
Brown attended a food event hosted by the pop culture-themed retailer BoxLunch in Los Angeles on December 5 when she unknowingly ate an item that contained ingredients she was allergic to, other attendees confirmed to the website. The content creator was reported to have "instantly felt bad" and went to the hospital immediately, according to X user @hideyagrannies, who claimed to know her.
"She was my moms best friend of 10 years," the X user wrote. "She asked if there was peanuts in the food and everyone told her no. When she instantly felt bad she asked someone to take her to the hospital, everyone said no and to take pictures first. So sad."
Brown reportedly received CPR at the event and 911 was immediately called, according to PEOPLE.
“We are devastated by the passing of Dominique Brown, a beloved member of the BoxLunch Collective, who suffered a medical emergency at an event hosted by BoxLunch on Thursday in Los Angeles,” a BoxLunch representative said in a statement issued to PEOPLE. “Our hearts go out to her family and friends, and we will do everything we can to support them and the members of the BoxLunch Collective and our team during this painful time.”
