Olympic Village Goes Crazy For Viral Chocolate Muffins

There’s been a huge surge in the popularity of a particular item being served to Olympic athletes at the Olympic Village in Paris.

Since Norwegian swimmer Henrik Christiansen posted on social media about a particular double chocolate muffin, the company responsible for feeding the 15,000 Olympians, Sodexo Live!, has been doling out nearly 2,000 of them daily.

The muffins, which are being served at multiple venues across the Village, are described as being filled and topped with chunks of dark and milk chocolate.

Sodexo Live! is keeping the recipe for the muffins under wraps, but they say over the course of the Olympics and the Paralympics, they’ll be serving around 100,000 of them.
