14-Year-Old Wanted for Homicide Arrested by US Marshals

Cleveland – On Monday morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located and arrested a 14-year-old male whom the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder wanted.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, on November 19, 2022, an argument broke out between the 14-year-old male suspect and Lawrence McKissic, 18, at a drive-thru convenience store near the 10300 block of St. Clair Ave., Cleveland. The 14-year-old male allegedly shot McKissic in the head, stole McKissic’s firearm, and fled the scene.

This morning, members of the Cleveland NOVFTF arrested the 14-year-old male in an apartment near the 400 block of Richmond Park Drive, Richmond Heights, Ohio.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Outstanding investigative work by the Cleveland Division of Police led to the quick identification of this homicide suspect. The arrest of this suspect comes just weeks after the initial incident. “
