New 'Halloween Kills' Trailer Teases Return Of Michael Myers

Michael Meyers is back.

On Wednesday (October 29), Blumhouse released the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 Halloween reboot. The quick teaser makes one thing clear—next Halloween kills.

Halloween Kills was originally set for release this month. Due to the ongoing pandemic, however, the horror flick's release date got pushed back a full year. The sequel will now hit theaters on Oct. 15, 2021.

Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise her role as iconic final girl Laurie Strode. She will be joined by Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Anthony Michael Hall, and Kyle Richards. Halloween Kills was written by David Gordon GreenDanny McBride, and Scott Teems.

While little is known about the plot of the film, Curtis did reveal the film picks up immediately after the first film ended. As for what comes after that, we'll just have to wait until next Halloween to find out.
