Vampire Weekend Tease "Harmony Hall" With Two-Hour Guitar Loop

Last week, Vampire Weekend got fans excited when frontman Ezra Koenig shared a lengthy update that not only promised their long-awaited fourth studio album would be coming out this year, but that we could expect two new songs this week. He also explained that two more two-song drops would be coming in the months leading up to the album, which has the abbreviated title of FOTB. Ezra hinted that the first two songs would be hh/2021, and on Tuesday (January 22) revealed that "2021" and "Harmony Hall" would be coming out on Thursday (January 24).

"Harmony Hall & 2021 out Thursday. For now, here’s 120 Minutes of Harmony Hall Guitars. Link in bio," the band posted on Instagram, along with a mysterious flowchart that could hint at a lyric: "We took a vow in summertime."

The band wasn't kidding, either. They literally uploaded a two-hour loop of the guitar riffs that will be featured in "Harmony Hall."

In addition they shared the guitar tabs for the song, and even posted a video of them jamming out to the guitar part of the song during their set at Lollapalooza last year.
