It was a steamy weekend in Delaware during the Firefly Music Festival and some of the attendees got to cool off with a shower. Irish Spring is one of the sponsors of the live music and camping festival and they wanted to break a record while they were at it. Considering showers were a commodity at Dover International Speedway, where the event was held, it was a good plan.
On Friday, the company rounded up 396 people who ended up breaking the Guinness World Record for most people showering simultaneously for five minutes. That was 65 more than the previous record! One of the showerees? "The Bachelorette" winner Shawn Booth.
Yes, clothing was worn and by the video, it looks like 10 am was not too early for the crowd.
