A pioneer in the field of multicultural marketing, Renee Singleton founded the Cleveland-based marketing firm Singleton & Partners in 2002, and the collaborative workspace and production facility S&P Work Lab in 2020. Fueled by Singleton’s commitment to the region and 20 years’ experience in marketing, broadcast media and event planning and management in the Cleveland and Atlanta markets, Singleton & Partners has been hailed as the first multicultural marketing firm in Northeastern Ohio.

Singleton’s mission in forming the agency was to fill the void between traditional mainstream marketing and the growing need for targeted strategies to reach women and multicultural audiences.Prior to forming her company, Singleton served as general sales manager for Radio One’s Cleveland market, and she was the first African-American in local radio to hold that post. In that role, Singleton generated a $15 million revenue budget developed through negotiations, local and national advertising, and partnerships with the media, community and business leaders.

Singleton is a 2020 recipient of the Crain’s Cleveland Business’s Women of Note Award and a 2009 recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners’ Northeast Ohio Top Ten Business Award. She remains committed to helping clients implement relevant marketing campaigns to reach diverse communities and remain competitive in the global marketplace.
